Councillors' Training project
The project aims to create a sustainable training program for municipal and town councillors, which will help councilors to carry out their duties in better and more efficient way.
During the execution of the project a training program was created and a group of trainers was summoned (officials and employees of local units). Two publications were printed as a supporting training material: "The Manual for Members of Representative Bodies of Local Self-Government units" and the booklet titled "Meet the Local Self-Government in Croatia".
The web site of the Union was revived containing new part titled "Training for Councilors," where members of municipal and town councils can find information about councilors' training, but also other various information and services important for everyday work. Training project was held in more than 30 towns and municipalities in Croatia.
